Framer – Owner
For several years I worked at a large art supply and framing chain in the city. I brought many ideas and expectations when I joined the team here in 2018. I grew up in Powell River, and have lived on the lower Sunshine Coast since 2011.
I'm primarily an oil painter and watercolour artist, but I've dabbled in just about everything and can help with most questions. I'm passionate to learn all there is to know about art supplies and art preservation.
You can see my paintings in store or on my website: www.vanessatomada.art

Framer – Customer Service
Experienced in just about all branches of art, she took lessons with professional artist Dick Van Den Hoogen. She paints in oils, acrylics, chalk pastel, ink, and more. She has taught the acrylic pour classes at the shop in the past.
When she's not in the store, she's painting, sewing, knitting, gardening, and reading up a storm.
Look out for her at her home studio during the Sunshine Coast Art Crawl!

Meet the Team
Formerly known as
"Lisa's Framing and Art Supplies"
In 2013, Lisa opened the store, with previous framing experience from other ventures. With her attention to detail and creative designs, she developed a loyal customer base, all up and down the Sunshine Coast.
In 2018, Vanessa joined the team to manage the store, so Lisa could have more freedom and time to travel. Vanessa had previous experience selling fine art materials, and brought lots of ideas, new brands, and products into the shop.
In 2020 Vanessa purchased the shop, with plans to expand. We've been growing the art supplies as much as possible to fit the needs of our customer base.
There's always new things to look at, and if we don't have what you need - Just ask if we can order it for you.
